Our business has grown organically through word of mouth and customer referrals.
We value the importance of maintaining strong, long lasting client relationships to provide on-going support throughout the boiler’s life.
Here’s what some of clients have to say about our service…
Andrew Higgo, Executive Director
Hoathly Hill Renewable Energy Ltd
As the Executive Director of Hoathly Hill Renewable Energy Ltd, I have had the pleasure of dealing with Nick Douch and his team at Douch Biomass for a number of years now. As a community of dwellings and enterprises we decided to investigate sustainable sources of heating. Having found what we felt was the solution, Douch guided us through the process from start to finish. They have been absolutely brilliant in the service they have offered, going, I feel, beyond what one would expect of them. If choosing biomass boilers as your energy supply, you would do well to engage with Douch in this regard….you will not be disappointed.
I engaged Douch Biomass to install a Herz pellet boiler. The boiler was installed on time, on budget, and according to my brother in law who is a plumber, the pipework is of the highest quality! Most of all I have been pleased with their reasonable and efficient after sales service.
Peter Dennett, Deputy Head of Centre
Hindleap Warren Outdoor Education Centre
Hindleap Warren is an Outdoor Education Centre set in 300 acres of the Ashdown Forest. We needed to replace our ageing oil boilers and decided to investigate woodchip biomass as an alternative. Using woodchip would enable us to self supply a small proportion of the fuel required from our own under managed woodland. As a charity we have a long tendering process so that Trustees can be assured that the charity’s limited funds are being well used. At each step of the way, Douch Biomass were able to answer all our questions and design a system that was suited to our particular needs. We choose them because they gave us confidence and our faith has not been misplaced. They were able to build the system and integrate it into our existing systems and cope with all the issues that cropped up. Thank you Nick and your team.
The Balcombe Estate is a multi-enterprise Estate in the heart of Mid-Sussex. A biomass system was a natural choice for us, with an abundance of waste wood we can utilise, plus the benefits of the income from the renewable heat incentive – this made it not only an economic, but an equally attractive investment for the Estate. Our boiler has been installed since 2010; Douch Biomass carried out the original installation, and the workmanship and quality is brilliant. Since then, we have asked them to service the boiler every year, and provide additional support when required. We continue to use Douch as the quality of service is unsurpassed; irrespective of whatever my request is, nothing is ever too much trouble for them.
We have always found Douch service to be responsive and thorough.
Nash Court is a mixed farming estate situated close to the North Kent down near Ashford. We chose to install a Biomass heating system in 2014 to take advantage of the government’s generous RHI scheme and move away from our dependence on fossil fuels for grain drying and domestic heating, while also creating an opportunity to make more use of our woodlands. We commissioned Douch Biomass with the installation as they were a local company with proven track record and came well recommended. The whole team at Douch have been excellent from installation through to after sales service, I would happily use them again or recommend them to others.
I installed a Herz 100kw woodchip boiler at Bakers Farm in 2013. It serves the farm house, two cottages, a greenhouse and the swimming pool in summer. The RHI incentive made the project look financially attractive and it continues to show a good rate of return, notwithstanding the recent fall in the oil price. The boiler consumes about 100 tonnes of G50 woodchip a year which until recently has been supplied by South East Wood Fuel but now it is ‘self supplied’ from chip produced from 15 year old poplar grown on my farm under the Farm Woodland grant scheme. As expected, the installation has had a few technical problems but Douch Biomass has always managed to deal with them quickly and efficiently. Our house has been much warmer and more comfortable to live in and we have extended the swimming season by at least a couple of months.
