Douch Biomass are authorised installers and service engineers for six of the major boiler manufacturers; Gilles, Herz, Heizomat, ETA, HDG and Windhager. Between them, these manufacturers produce biomass boilers that range in size from 10kW to 1500kW.
Our engineers have undergone extensive training in the installation, programming and maintenance of all of these products.
Gilles are an Austrian company and have been continually developing their biomass technology over the last 21 years. Gilles manufacture commercial and industrial boilers from 12.5kW to 1400kW and can burn a wide range of fuels, including pellet, wood chip, Miscanthus, corn stems and straw.
In 2000, Gilles were awarded Austria’s Eco mark and have quickly established a reputation for manufacturing highly efficient heating systems.
Douch Biomass are the only authorised and approved Gilles Installer and Service Provider in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey and South London. Only authorised dealers are able to obtain genuine Gilles spare parts, access up to date technical data and validate warranty claims. Some companies have been falsely representing themselves as one of Gilles’s authorised partners, so please do check this with Gilles first before signing a contract.
Herz boilers are popular due to their compact design and small footprint. Particularly popular is their HD range for its efficient combustion, ability to cope with longer operating periods and toleration of higher fuel moisture content.
Herz produce sophisticated boilers running on logs, wood chip and wood pellet from 10kW to 1500kW.
HeizomatGB Ltd is the official UK partner for Heizomat biomass, www.heizomatgb.co.uk. Their boilers are manufactured in Germany from the highest quality of materials and components.
They offer two types of boilers:-
HSK-RA series (50-198kW) – Primarily a woodchip boiler but equally efficient at burning wood pellets, saw dust and shavings, this boiler provides a compact solution to heating with biomass.
RHK-AK series (50-1500kW) – A multi-fuel biomass boiler maintaining high efficiency at partial and peak load outputs with a wide variety of fuels from woodchip to Miscanthus. Utilising a chain and flight ash removal system and high capacity combustion chamber.

ETA biomass boilers have been a popular choice in the UK because they are a robust and well-designed unit. They offer a wide product range of pellet, wood chip and log boilers that are technically advanced, highly efficient, and fully automatic from 7kW up to 500kW.
German owned HDG offer a range of log, chip and pellet boilers built to the highest standards of engineering from a small 10kW pellet boiler to 500kW wood chip unit.
Their productivity and consummate proficiency make them a popular viable choice for biomass.
The Windhager biomass boiler range extends from a small domestic appliance of 10kW, to 60kW commercial units that can be cascaded together. Their intelligent control and design ensures maximum efficiencies are achieved with long intervals between cleaning and maintenance. These boilers are among the most reliable biomass boilers on the market.
